read this online and found this rather interesting. it's amazing how people will continue spending to upkeep on their appearances no matter how bad the economy is. it kinda proves the point that appearances matter a whole lot in society these days.

anyway, darling helped me move back from hall today. kinda felt a tinge of sadness when i was packing my stuffs. for the past 8 months, i felt i really grew up a lot. i've become much more independent. for the past 8 months, i've grown even closer to a very close friend and im gonna miss her much (cos i won't be seeing her almost every day like the past 8 months). for the past 8 months, i've made a lot of friends in nie and learnt a lot from the older and wiser peers in nie. for the past 8 months, i've had laughters and tears but i reflect and learn from every single experience. for the past 8 months, i've learnt to be less selfish and be a better person.

though the going was tough, everyone pulled through by helping each other out. i guess that's what makes the whole nie experience memorable for me.

maybe im really growing older. but i enjoy growing older, cos i feel i've become a happier person in the process.

i see the beauty of life, which is more than just appearances.
