met up with my gals yday to celebrate irene's birthday! honestly, i feel that when my world tumbles down, they are people who can make my world go sunny side up. =D

the mini photo collage i did for both irene and wanyie and had it laminated! :) (wanyie was commenting on how pretty it was and was surprised when i told her she has one too.)
the card we decorated for her. :p (i kinda cut out the stuffs from the Ettusais Dec'09 pamphlet. not bad huh??)
wanyie, irene (the birthday princess) and i. we'll be besties forever. :p

the rest of the night was at IndoChine (or Forbidden City). :p
we started the day with our long-due kbox session. :) (altho i was an hour late, cos i was preparing the mini photo collage and card for irene. =p)

caught a super classic hilarious shot of wanyie. it's one which really practically sent irene and i ROFL. i was laughing uncontrollably for about 3 mins after taking that shot, till my stomach ached. it's really one of those pictures that i should place in front of my desk so that i can have a good hearty laugh whenever i return to my desk from classes. =p but i shall not put it up here, wanyie will scream her head off. lols.
next up, we decided to take a neoprint. haha. wanyie kept joking that we are 'old aunties' going to take neoprint. lols. but we are never too old for anything, rite?? we were squealing rather loudly inside the neoprint station, cos we were such ultra lousy posers and designers. and there's always a time-limit to choose the designs and poses for such neo-print stations. u see why we were screaming. haha.

we all like the bottom right picture best. :) our dear wanyie is so cute cos she did not look at the camera for any of the pictures at all! she was looking at the screen below the camera! LOLS. and my eyes look BIG. omg. cos its my very first attempt at putting on my faux eyelashes and wanyie and irene commented it looks very natural! yay. and it turns out nice for the pictures. teeheehee.
after the neo-print, we had dinner at fish&co. and of cos wanyie and i had more in store for irene! though we had already given her the card together with the mini photo collage and the rose and the dior eyeshadow travel set. :) while wanyie was liasing with the staff at fish&co for the surprise, i had to try to divert irene's attention!! so i was snapping away with my canon ixus.

the staff at fish&co. @paragon were really nice, helpful and friendly. they even asked and helped us prepare the birthday cake we had bought for irene, even though it was bought from BreadTalk. :p

happy chinese new year to everyone! :) i think im feeling much better today. after about 2 weeks of indulging myself in the blues, i decided to step out of it because my life is worth more than sitting at home in front of the laptop to wait for him to come online. it's no wonder people always say its hard to maintain and LDR (long-distance relationship). i seriously have no idea how to make this work out. the time difference is 8 hours somemore.
work is pretty stressful as usual, with a ridiculous amount of assignments to mark. my colleagues adviced me to give the kids lesser homework, so i'll have a more manageable marking load. hmms i shall think about it. anyway, my class won 2nd for the CNY noticeboard deco! yayness. we won 2nd out of 20 express classes. not bad huh??
will be heading out with my gals to town later and perhaps chill somewhere after dinner! whee!! and probably heading to a friend's place to learn how to make a chocolate dessert tml before meeting up with a friend from hk tml night. :p

i will be heading down to Orchard Building for this event today!! :) feeling so excited. i cleared my wardrobe a couple of weeks ago, and had large bags of nice and pretty dresses which i, sadly, do not fancy anymore.
then i chanced upon this timely event organised by Ettusais! :D yayness. im bringing one big bag of clothes there. HAHA. i hope they don't laugh at me, cos im really quite an online shopping addict. heh.
hopefully, i can get something nice from the event. they will be giving every participant a bag to collect their picks. even if i don't, i guess its okay as well cos all the remaining clothes will be given to charity!
so... we're doing our part to save the earth as well as do some charitable deeds at the same time! teeheehee.
anyway, i'll be meeting up with irene later after this Swop! Shop! Party! event in town. a little pity cos wanyie is down with fever and can't join us. hope she gets well soon. and i'll be meeting a blogshop owner to get a pair of lovely lace heels tml afternoon before hopping down to my tuition kid's place. :))
