David Cook - Always be my baby

We were as one babe
For a moment in time
And it seemed everlasting
That you would always be mine

Now you want to be free
So I'm letting you fly
Cause I know in my heart babe
Our love will never die
No!

You'll always be a part of me
I'm a part of you indefinitely
Girl don't you know you can't escape me
Ooh darling cause you'll always be my baby
And we'll linger on
Time can't erase a feeling this strong
No way you're never gonna shake me
Ooh darling cause you'll always be my baby

I ain't gonna cry no
And I won't beg you to stay
If you're determined to leave girl
I will not stand in your way
But inevitably you'll be back again
Cause ya know in your heart babe
Our love will never end no

You'll always be a part of me
I'm part of you indefinitely
Girl don't you know you can't escape me
Ooh darling cause you'll always be my baby
And we'll linger on
Time can't erase a feeling this strong
No way you're never gonna shake me
Ooh darling cause you'll always be my baby

I know that you'll be back girl
When your days and your nights get a little bit colder oooohhh
I know that, you'll be right back, babe
Ooooh! baby believe me it's only a matter of time

You'll always be a part of me
I'm part of you indefinitely
Girl don't you know you can't escape me
Ooh darling cause you'll always be my baby
And we'll linger on
Time can't erase a feeling this strong
No way you're never gonna shake me
Ooh darling cause you'll always be my my baby....

You'll always be a part of me (you will always be)
I'm part of you indefinitely
Girl don't you know you can't escape me
Ooh darling cause you'll always be my baby
And we'll linger on (we will linger on....)
Time can't erase a feeling this strong
No way you're never gonna shake me
Ooh darling cause you'll always be my baby

Always be my baby

it's a really nice song..

sundays are solitude days for me. meaning i wanna be left alone to rot. HA.

headed down to haji lane to exchange a dress which i bought last week. but damn. it started raining very heavily and i was drenched even though i was carrying an umbrella. :( reached the shop and OOPS realised that it only opens at 1pm. *faints*

but under the umbrella on a rainy day in an almost empty street, it kinda makes me reflect a little about my life. is everything the way i want them to be?

perhaps not.

********

was chilling at TCC yday. had a cuppa caramello almondo and some prawn cheese toast. :p i love the prawn cheese toast.

prawn cheese toast with a little caviar on it. yummy.
im gonna try and learn to make this. since im so free this holidays anyway. :p and im in love with macarons from bakerzin. (: they are absolutely heavenly.

sab is really bored. *yawns* gonna hop down to the driving centre to register for my basic theory.

yea i know that sounds like way overdue.

went to the ACM fieldtrip last fri with the history peeps. :p our last fieldtrip for this sem finally. heh. below are the pictures i took while waiting... (p.s. all the photos are taken with my Sony Ericsson G900, and i think it's a really handy cam+phone to have around. :p)

timbre's the place i always never get to step into, despite wanting to chill there several times. the history peeps wanted to go timbre to dine and chill after the fieldtrip. but our 'event coordinator' for the night didn't make a reservation. :( so of cos it was packed and we had to settle dinner elsewhere. and well, no drinks at all for me that night. rather surprisingly.

took these christmas light-ups in town the other day after celebrating mommy's burfdae. :p i love the candies and cupcakes. (:

the xmas tree outside wheelock
i love taking photos. but not of myself, more of scenic places instead. :p anyway, i can't wait for christmas to come. and im aiming to get my own car by next year end, if prices are low enough. but before that, i ought to go get my licence soon. :p

im finally liberated from the never-ending assignments. till 5th jan. :p my holidays will start after my last history lesson tml! whoopee! (:

anyway, there's this range from TheFaceShop which i think is really good for sensitive/combination skin. its the Quick & Clean line from TheFaceShop, which is oil-free. im currently using their toner and blemish balm cream (BB cream). i use the BB cream as a base before applying my foundation. had been using it for a few months, after searching frantically for a remedy to cure the pimple outbreaks/scars on my forehead (a few months back). my complexion has really improved A LOT and at least there's no more outbreaks. :p

bought a nail polish in midnight blue from TheFaceShop with wanyie the other day. i think it's pretty cheap at $2.90 per bottle and it's really easy to apply and lasting. (: might get another colour soon.

it's a freaking boring and rainy sunday evening. oh well. really wish i can be in town chilling at some starbucks now. :(

im officially a shu uemura addict. :p bought the shu uemura natural glow powder foundation and pro concealer yday. and i like the medium coverage of the foundation which looks more natural, as the name suggests. lols. my previous foundation which was ZA's is medium-to-full coverage. i found it too thick, but didn't really dare to change cos i have sensitive skin all along. so im really happy i've found my holy grail. :)

i really like the sleek black casing of this.

the pro concealer.

and im gonna get the precise volume mascara from shu uemura soon too. heard it's really good. :p darling thinks im growing bimbotic. but well, i just wanna pamper myself after all these stress i've gone through. ha.

Sunday, November 16, 2008

just finished up my super last assignment for this semester. (: and it'll be over after the lame ungraded presentation tml. im kinda over the moon, though i was pretty much stressed over it throughout the weekends. but well, the comforting fact is that it's my last weekends that's gonna be burnt! and whee, it's time to party after tml!!!

spent quite a lot on stuffs lately. arghhh, think the stress is really getting to me. bought a pair of white jeans from MNG which costs me 79 bucks, and a turquoise top from Principles which costs me 111 bucks after discount. 190 bucks was gone, in just a matter of hours. :(

had chicken rice with mommy at chatterbox @ Meritus Mandarin Singapore for dinner on friday. it's yummy and i don't see a speck of blood on my chicken meat at all. im always very particular about that. LOLS. i think the chicken rice @ chatterbox is more for the health-conscious as the chicken rice itself is really fragrant and not oily, unlike the other chicken rice that we consume elsewhere. the chicken rice set is priced at about $20. a little bit steep for just chicken rice though. :p more like high-class hawker food.

finally finished our group fieldtrip package and individual source-based lesson plan. phew. it was hellish. only started compiling the fieldtrip package at 3 plus am in the morning after finishing my individual source-based lesson plan. at 5.30am i decided i really needed some sleep cos my productivity rate was almost zero.

just glad that its over for now. 1 more package to go next monday and then it'll be celebration time! (: can't wait for my well-deserved break.

i've come to realise that my favourite hobby is online shopping. LOLs. i know that sounds damn bimbotic but yea, i still have that tinge of girlishness in me. regular shopping is a must, even if its just online. :p i've bought 1 top and 2 dresses from a few online shops recently. think i gotta really start curbing my spending. ha.

switched back to my chanel blusher recently cos i think thefaceshop's one has a tinge too much of the shimmery effect. not really suitable for school. i still trust chanel for its blusher. :p

darling bought me the dark grey hobo bag with gold details i've been eyeing for our 2 years anniversary gift. (: YAYness. and i love it lots.

we went to this Jap restaurant, Tentsu, at Tanglin Mall for lunch.

our lunch sets. YUMMY! (:

green tea mochi for dessert.

and i was so fascinated by the mini fork and spoon..

that i couldn't resist taking a picture with them. :p

happy 2 years darling. may there be more years to come... (:

********

in the evening, i attended leo's wedding dinner with my bunch of history friends from NIE. all of us were plagued by the pressure of rushing out the Fieldtrip package and source-based lesson plan by monday. yet, we still came to gave our greatest congratulations and blessings to this pair of newly weds. (:

anyway, leo was too busy with his wedding to entertain us. so we just have to make do with their wedding shot. :p

die. think we are turning into very spastic people after going thru this stressful education. LOLs.

Saturday, November 08, 2008

assignments are driving me crazy. 1 group fieldtrip package and 1 individual source-based lesson plan due on monday. within the fieldtrip package there's still individual reflections and site reflections to complete.

and very honestly, the assignments in NIE really require much higher-level and higher-order analytical and conceptual skills. no joke. i've been thru the whole NUS system thinking that that was the worst.

no, this is much worst and it's really draining me out.
