went to town to shop around and watch transformers with darling. i tink it's damn nice and megan fox is so sizzling hot. lols. at around 8 plus, i was feeling a little drained cos i woke up at 6 .30am in the morning and we decided to proceed home. then i received wanyie's msg: 'is the drinking session still on?' LOLS. all of a sudden, i forgot about my fatigue and i dropped off from the bus 65 that i was on and hopped to PS to meet the gang. :p

i was telling des if he can't find me next time, i should be at alleybar chilling most probably. haha. it's quite a cool place to chill cos there's no blasting loud music so we don't have to shout to each other, no rowdy groups who think they own the whole bar, and the mood is a relaxed one. :) the serving for the potato wedges there is quite a huge portion for a mere 10 dollars too.
wanyie, the mafia. HAHA.
one reason to show why wanyie loves her manicure so much... it's her first manicure attempt anyway... :p gosh, i haven't have my first manicure in 23 years of my life... :(

i love fridays. i think life is about people who matter to you and who cares and bothers about you. for those who don't bother, there's no point being upset about them cos it's not worth it. everyday is a new day, im gonna learn to enjoy and appreciate every second of my life. :)

alrights. im back from my bintan trip! (: so here's how i spent my 3 days 2 nights there...
we reached bintan around late afternoon on friday, so i suggested we go out to sea by kayaking. so we changed and off we go! we were contemplating whether to bring the camera along out to sea. cos if we capsized, there goes my canon ixus. lols. but heck, we brought it along with us in ziplock. (:
before we went out to sea, we saw a boy being crowded around by people and he was yelling in pain while the staff poured some liquid over his leg. we asked around and realized that the boy was stung by a jellyfish and i was rather worried that we'll be stung by jellyfish too if we capsized in the middle of the sea.

and tata! the big pink jellyfish we saw from our kayak. (:
it looks like this when further away from the sea surface. not very obvious heh?
and so we spent quite some time chasing the pink jellyfish around in our kayak until we grew tired of it. and we decided to head to a kelong which stands alone in the middle of the ocean. According to the hotel staff, the kelong should be about 450m away from shore... we thought it was more than that... haha.
the people on the kelong were amused and curious about us, as we kayaked near them... we tried to ask them how long they have been living there and so on, but to no avail as they did not understand english... lols.

the picture above gives u a rough gauge on how far we kayaked out into the sea to the kelong. when we headed back to shore after reaching the kelong, the people at the shore looked as tiny as ants to us. LOLS.

gonna head to bintan from tml till sunday. yay. can't wait to get out of singapore! lols. and hopefully i can get a good tan. poor darling has got a swollen lymph node. :( hope he gets well in time for our trip...
anyway, i saw my dear jiajun today while on the bus 65 to tampines mall. its really a coincidence cos she just read my blog about my trip to JB and wanted to sms me about it. :p haha. and so i divulged all the current cab fare rates in JB from places to places! it's really really nice to see u again gal! do hope to meet up with u soon and have a fun time in JB! (:
so i went shopping alone at tampines and bought a pair of dark-coloured jeans from springfield. i've been trying to find a nice dark-coloured pair of jeans which fits me nicely and isn't of too thick material. (: so yay it's my lucky day!
GSS has kinda got me spending a bit lately. cos i just bought a black ruffled dress from mango which i've been eyeing for some time. the original price is $115 but i bought it at $69. so logically speaking i saved about $36, but as a matter of fact i spent $69. ouch. time to save up!
i had a talk with wanyie before she left for taiwan. and she said i seem really happy lately (i think she forgot to add in 'cranky' too, cos i drive her crazy with my consistent nonsense during the past 2 weeks of nie post-practicum progs!) maybe happiness comes from being loved and being contented. sometimes i feel like i have the whole world right in my hands but at times im so afraid of losing it. whenever i plunge into one of my self-pity mood, he's always there to pull me right up.
i should be so lucky, heh? i just can't ask for more. okayy, 1 pic before i leave for bintan! (:

2 more weeks to relax before i plunge myself into work again. ;(
after a few more questions on which departmental store, i looked away once again to pretend to talk to darling. both of us were getting a bit freaked out by this weird lady. by now, she was talking to a stranger guy on her right. (i was seated to her left.)

the good news is i passed my Basic Theory Test yesterday! Whee! this sounds like it shld have been done eons ago and perhaps a little overrated but im really happy that i passed it on the first go. :p darling was so sweet to take a bus down to the driving centre and waited for me outside while i was taking the test. :p so, i treated him to mc donald's breakfast after i passed my btt and applied for the provisional driving license.
we slacked a while and then went to JB to eat cheap seafood. lols. on our bus ride into JB, there was this weird lady who sat beside me and started asking me weird questions.
weird lady: eh... are you the channel 8 artiste lee xin yu (belinda lee)? (p.s. i wasn't even looking in her direction)

me (shocked): yah of course its real!
weird lady: ohh... cos it looks so nice and has got different streaks of brown... did you dye your hair?
me (still shocked): umm. i used to dye it but i haven't dyed it for a very long time...
weird lady (mumbling to herself): very nice hor... i thought it's not real. (FAINTS!)
anyway, my hair is not totally black those kind as it is naturally slightly brown. as soon as the bus reached the JB checkpoint, darling and i scrambled away from the weird lady. super freaky la.

after reaching Jusco, we hunted for his dad's facial foam and finally found it. then we shopped around Jusco and i chanced upon a Shu Uemura shop! (: the stuffs are pretty much cheaper by a few bucks. as i still have my foundation refill, i didn't buy another one. but i bought a sponge from them which costs only RM15 bucks! it costs S$11 in singapore, which is really daylight robbery.
we finally stopped for some milk tea at a hk cafe with nice orance cushy seats. (:
i love the cushy seats! they are so comfy. (:
i think his colour combi looks very carrotish. lols.
then i was possessed by a mad cow. lols. nahz im kidding.
soon our stomachs were grumbling and we took a cab to tebrau to eat yummy and cheap seafood. we wanted to buy milk bones for tails (darling's doggy) originally from the pet shop near the hawker centre cos tails loved it so much the last time we bought back from JB for her. unfortunately the pet shop was closed. :( nvm, next time we shall buy more back for her. (:
