met irene & wanyie yday for dinner at fish&co. the shellfish platter was so pricey and the share is a little small. :( think i'll still stick to the normal seafood platter in future. some pictures we took at starbucks, after dinner and a little shopping... the rejector again.. haha. i really love the black patent organizer from kinokuniya that wanyie gave to me... totally heart the little crystal-studded heart at the corner. (: can't wait for irene's prezzie from korea! ha. im sounding so much like a kid. :p just went to the dentist (who's my friend and just opened a clinic at Shenton House) to extract a wisdom tooth that has been causing me toothaches periodically. *ouchie* but not too bad, im pretty glad that the rest of my teeth are in good health and shape. (: can check out his clinic at this website http://www.singaporedentalcare.com/. then went to suntec and chanced upon this special deal of 3 books for the price of 2 at Harris. and so i bought my favourite books by mitch albom: for one more day and tuesdays with Morrie as well as The Pact by Jodi Picoult. YAYness. i can occupy my free time with these new books now. (:

been pondering if im really growing older, day by day. am i getting too old for a lot of stuffs? for e.g. Zoukout, year-end countdown parties, etc. there's this inner struggle within me to make full use of my remaining time (before i fully step into the workforce) to do whatever i wanna do. yet i find myself being faced with certain comments like "huh, u thinking of going ah?" which makes me think twice about whether im really growing too old for such stuffs. i mean, after all, we only live our lives once. why waste it? though im going to be a teacher in like another half a year's time, it doesn't mean that i can't have my fair share of fun and enjoyment in life rite? and he thinks im a 22-year-old still behaving like im a 20-year-old. lols. it's only a 2 years difference, not that much difference rite? :p anyway, i was very tempted to rebond my hair straight again and cut my fringe. cos im really getting quite sick of scrunging my hair everyday and i miss my sleek comb-through hair. :( but, i've been receiving compliments that i look prettier with permed hair and getting more glances on the streets (to the extent of some weird uncle driver saying "hi" to me from his van for no apparent reason while i was walking along the road one day). so im kinda reluctant to straighten out these va-va-vroom curls as well. :( oh well, tink i'll perm again to define the curls more.

alrighty, headed down to town today and wanted to place an order at bakerzin for a christmas gift for des' family. but decided not to in the end bcos of the super lousy service attitude of the crew at bakerzin who kept asking me to wait and wait. that was the paragon branch btw. went to the ettusais counter at metro and bought their crystal tear shimmer eyeliner. (: it's a gel-like transparent shimmery eyeliner. really brightens up the eyes and it's totally lovely. great for a night out! :p the Ettusais shimmer eyeliner and Revlon Colorstay black eyeliner bought the Revlon Colorstay black eyeliner the other day cos the salesperson kept telling me it's good. so i bought it to try it out. and OMG, it's even better than M.A.C's which still smudges a little by the end of the day. the Revlon Colorstay eyeliner which costs less than half the price of M.A.C's lasts and is really smudge-proof. the chanel irreelle blusher in no.26 neroli rose managed to grab the last chanel irreelle blusher in my favourite shade at a cosmetics shop in lucky plaza (irene told me to try my luck there. thanks lots babe!) not sure if other places still have stocks of it cos the production for it has been discontinued already. :( really contented with my cosmetic purchases. :p im really spending a lot this holiday on clothes, cosmetics, food, drinks, blah blah blah. my pocket screams *ouch*.

went sun-tanning with him today! wheeee! (: i so miss the sun. totally. (:
was at raffles city and marina sq squandering our time away yesterday. :p darling got himself a pair of Levi's and a shirt from River Island, while i picked a clutch for myself from River Island. at the fitting room, cos the dude took a super long time choosing his shirt. so i had to find something to do to occupy myself. :p after the madness shopping at Levi's and River Island, we went over to the Funan IT Mall to look at speakers, but couldn't decide which to get in the end. after which, we went to the starbucks at marina sq to chill. it's getting boring shopping everyday... i wanna do more exciting stuffs... :( we experimented with the colour accent function of my canon camera... my fav green tea frapp. the dude of my life. agenda for today: swimming!! hope the sun's good. (: "Lady Hear me tonight 'Cause my feeling Is just so right As we dance By the moonlight Can't you see You're my delight Lady I just feel like I won't get you Out of my mind I feel loved For the first time And I know that it's true I can tell by the look in your eyes" |
