its getting scarier, day by day. the economy is taking a downturn, just that its yet to be reflected in employment figures. if retrenchment figures are going to start rising, then employment figures are definitely going the opposite direction. of course the advice is to keep to what one has now. PM Lee Hsien Loong has warned us to prepare for a "rough ride" ahead, and im almost sure that this downturn wouldn't be a mere few months affair.

our Singapore economy is very much dependent on other countries, which includes the United States and the Europe. the U.S. economy is plunging and their national debt is increasing every single day. it's not an optimistic outlook at all.

being a graduate doesn't ensure that you will definitely get a job. and fresh graduates always ask for a much higher pay cos of their perceived higher qualifications. job experience and a lower wage will matter more to an employer in times of economic difficulties.
