it never fails to amuse me how flowers can make a girl's heart flutter. lol.

case 1: guy friend 1 told me the girl he fancies was more touched when she received the bouquet which was sent to her office on Valentine's day, compared to the time he folded 99 cranes for her.

case 2: guy friend 2 did a cross-stitch for his gf as well as gave her a bouquet of 3 lilies. but he said she was more elated on receiving the flowers than the cross-stitch.

such is the power of flowers. and they told me next time its wiser to spend the money on flowers, than to make any presents. *faints*
